Workshop Presenter

James Hart Brumm, who is pastor of Blooming Grove Reformed Church in DeFreestville, New York, where he lives with his wife, the Rev. Kathleen Hart Brumm, and their son, Christopher. James is author of over 100 hymns, many of which are collected in Out of the Ordinary (Colfax, NC: Wayne Leupold Editions, 2001) and Rhythms of Praises (Wayne Leupold Editions, due out in 2009).  He was part of the team that produced Sing! A New Creation (Faith Alive, 2001), and has had several articles in The Church Herald, Reformed Worship, and The Hymn.  Having taught and led workshops on worship, congregational song, and church history across North America, he has most recently edited Worship Among the Thorns: Essays on Worship in the Reformed Church in America (Eerdman’s, 2008).
