Workshop Presenters

Presenters, Debra Braaksma and Pat Miersma will present to church leaders and their members, civil service workers, professional in health and healing disciples, and non-profit organizations who desire to learn methods presented in the trauma healing course offered in the Sudan.  The workshop will look at trauma and healing from five perspectives:

  • Recognition
  • Responding
  • Recovery
  • Reintegration
  • Reconciliation

Debra Braaksma is an Reformed Church in America Missionary who assist the churches of southern Sudan in ministries of reconciliation, trauma healing and civil education.  RCA missionary, Pat Miersma works with Wycliffe Bible Translators to conduct seminars for church leaders and missionaries on conflict resolution, family life, cultural adjustment and crisis situations.

Cost for this event is $60 which included dinner on Friday evening and lunch on Saturday.  Please make us aware of any food allergies or special diets when registering.
