The mission of the continuing education branch of Western Theological Seminary is to create learning opportunities for the church, pastors, congregations, and individuals.
Gordon H. Girod Research Chair of Reformed Theology
Cultivating pastor-theologians in the Reformed tradition
In the Girod Chair we view pastoral ministry as a creative theological space. On behalf of Western Theological Seminary we seek to form ministry leaders to be people who deeply engage theology in the Reformed tradition for the sake of Christ’s church and the world. One of the ways we do this is through events, publications, and projects that display the promise of a Reformed pastor-theologian vocation for the church today.
Center for Disability and Ministry
The Center for Disability and Ministry at Western Theological Seminary exists to support ministry leaders of all abilities in nurturing and receiving the gifts and contributions of persons with disabilities through formational opportunities including theological education, consultation, forums, and publications.
Ridder Church Renewal
The goal of Ridder Church Renewal is to help leaders develop the tools needed to confront unhealthy models that have hindered personal and congregational health.
